These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at thestrengthequation.com (“Site”) and the founding membership waitlist operated by The Strength Equation (“TSE”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
The Founding Waitlist
Joining the founding waitlist reserves your spot in the first 1,000 founding memberships and locks in the founding rate available at signup, subject to the conditions below.
- No payment is required to join the waitlist. Payment will be collected separately when you activate your membership at facility opening.
- The founding rate at the time you join is the rate locked for the life of your active membership — not the calendar date of your first session.
- Founding rate-lock requires continuous active membership. If you cancel your membership and rejoin later, the standard rate at that time applies.
- The waitlist is non-transferable. Your founding spot is tied to you personally and cannot be sold, gifted, or assigned.
Opening Date and Build Risk
TSE’s opening target is Q1 2027 in Carlsbad, CA. Construction projects of this scale carry inherent timeline risk. We commit to transparent communication if the open date shifts.
If the open date is delayed by more than 12 months from the original Q1 2027 target, founding members may:
- Continue holding their founding spot at the locked rate.
- Request a full release from the waitlist with no obligation.
- Transfer their founding rate-lock to a new start date.
Joining the waitlist is not a contract guaranteeing the facility opens at any specific date. If TSE is unable to open the facility, no payment is collected and no obligation continues.
Membership Pricing
Founding pricing is currently posted as: Base $65 biweekly, Elite $75 biweekly. Standard pricing (after 1,000 founding spots fill) is currently posted as: Base $75 biweekly, Elite $95 biweekly. A $70 annual maintenance fee applies to all memberships. There is no initiation fee for founding members.
Posted pricing is the rate as of April 26, 2026 and reflects our committed founding-member rate. The rate at the time you joined the waitlist is the rate that locks for your membership.
Use of Site Content
All content on this site — articles, photography, renders, copy, design — is the property of TSE or its licensors and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission. Personal-use bookmarking, sharing of links, and standard fair-use quoting are welcome.
User Conduct
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Submit false or misleading information through any form.
- Attempt to access systems or data without authorization.
- Interfere with the operation of the Site or its underlying infrastructure.
Disclaimers
The educational articles published on this Site are for informational purposes. They do not replace medical, nutritional, or professional fitness advice from a qualified provider who knows your specific situation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TSE’s liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Site or the founding waitlist is limited to the total amount you have paid to TSE (which, prior to facility opening, is zero).
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the business grows. Material changes will be communicated to founding members. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision.
